Cooking Tweezers

Cooking Tweezers

The first time people see a pair of 50 cm long tweezers, they normally can’t stop themselves from smirking. But believe us: These tweezers are the perfect kitchen aid when you are grilling or cooking. Barbecue tongs or kitchen tweezers are particularly great in summer when you want to barbecue sausages and the like. They make is easy to grab and turn pieces of meat, without the feeling that your fingers are about to catch fire. Try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

For use as kitchen tweezers, barbecue tongs and aquarium tweezers

Long tweezers or tongs aren’t just for use in the kitchen or when barbecuing. For anyone who owns a terrarium or an aquarium and wants to feed their beloved pets, who can sometimes be poisonous or prone to biting, tweezers can be used to provide food. The tweezers are available in 13, 14.5, 16, 20, 25, 30 and 50 cm models. We recommend tweezers of length 30 cm or longer for cooking or barbecuing.

Stainless steel tweezers

All the tweezers available here (in the kitchen tweezers category) are made from stainless steel and won’t rust. Please note: This refers to contact with air. Rust-free does not mean that the tweezers can be left in water all day without oxidizing. If they get wet, they should be dried off. You should always store the tweezers in a dry place.

Long tweezers or tongs

We stock tweezers up to 50 cm in length. ‘What do you use those for?’ we hear you ask. How about as kitchen tweezers, barbecue tongs or aquarium tweezers. You’ll be surprised how great these tweezers are for such uses.

Angled or straight tweezers

The long tweezers or tongs are available with both angled and bent tips. Depending on personal taste, people may prefer tweezers with a particular tip shape over another model. Another criteria to be considered when deciding which model to go for is what exactly the tweezers will be used for.

Use the tweezers with ease

In principle, these large tweezers are easy to handle. They function in the same way as small tweezers. One advantage is that the tips are not as sensitive and won’t be damaged as soon as they hit anything. Since all available models are made from stainless steel, they also have a very long service life. What you need to know: The tweezers shouldn’t come into contact with water or damp for long periods of time as this can cause the surface to oxidize. However, they are resistant to corrosion when exposed to air and won’t rust in this case.
